Himalayan Pink Salt


Packing some pretty amazing benefits, I would recommend switching your regular refined white salt to Himalayan Pink Salt.

What makes this salt so amazing?  Feel free to look it up yourself but here is what I found.

It was made over 200 million years ago and has been stored in its pristine and natural environment.  It is not coming out of our polluted oceans and chemically altered.  Himalayan pink salt contains the same 84 trace minerals and elements that are found in the human body so it works with you and not against you.

Some of the benefits of consuming Himalayan pink salt include:
  • aids in vascular health
  • promotes a stable pH balance within cells
  • promotes healthy sleep patterns
  • prevents muscle cramps
  • increases hydration
  • lowers blood pressure
  • improves circulation
  • detoxifies the body of heavy metals
Regular white sea salt is becoming increasingly over processed, so better than regular salt, but not as good as Himalayan pink salt.

Regular commercial table salt is completely stripped of the majority of its minerals with the exception of sodium and chloride.  It is then bleached, cleaned with chemicals and then heated at extremely high temperatures.  The iodine that is added to table salt is almost always synthetic which is difficult for our bodies to properly take in.

Pretty gross right?  Salt in itself is not unhealthy for us, it is refined table salt that is inferior for us.  You can find Himalayan pink salt in your health food store.  I've made the switch, how about you?
