Good Bye Summer

Labor Day is sometimes met with mixed feelings.  It marks the end of summer.  It says goodbye to lazy days on the beach and anticipated summer vacations with family and friends.

I welcome Labor Day and all that she brings with her.  I look forward to the whisper of cooler days, the onset of leaves changing and the hint of smoke in the air. I am ready for football and basketball season to start and ready to pull out my jeans and boots.  Who doesn't love pulling on that first sweater and curling up with a warm drink by the fire?  At this point in time, I'm ready for fall and ready to say good bye to summer.
